Ghana Integrity Initiative (GII) is calling on the general public to vote for an Integrity Personality of the Year2019.To cast a vote, GII is providing the public with two voting options, either through the Ghana Integrity Awards website – www.ghanatintegrityawards.org/voteor via shortcode - *718*739#

The public votes will constitute 40% of the total score while an evaluation committee made up of representatives from civil society organisations, academia, judiciary, private sector, and partner institutions would evaluate the shortlisted nominees and score them. The committee’s score will make up 60% of the total score. The individual with the highest score will be adjudged the Integrity Personality of the Year 2019.

The Ghana Integrity Awards was launched in August 2019, with the aim of honouring Institutions and Individuals whose effort is contributing positively and sustainably to the fight against corruption in Ghana. Nominations were received from the public and the following persons have been shortlisted:

1. Daniel Yaw Domelevo – Auditor General, Ghana
2. Manasseh Azure Awuni – Freelance Investigative Journalist
3. Ato Ulzen-Appiah – Director, Ghana Think Foundation
4. David Boateng Asante –Managing Director, Ghana Publishing Company
5. Edward Sowah Adjetey - Engineer, State Housing Company Limited.

Other Awards categories are: Policy & Administrative Reforms, Transparency & Social accountability, Efficient Public Service Delivery and Effective Internal Control Enforcement Category

The winner of the Integrity personality of the year category would be Awarded - INTEGRITY PERSONALITY OF THE YEAR on 9^thDecember 2019 during the International Anti-Corruption Week.
